The mod "Steam Desk Essentials (All Handhelds)" which is currently available on NexusMods changes some graphics options that are unavailable to players in the menu to make the game run better on SteamDeck....these same changes are said to reduce FPS stuttering and increase overall FPS for macOS. The install instructions are provided as a ReadMe text file which is included in the mod download.
