Crashing black screen after launch on mac

Hi, running on a mac and installed using crosstie. I see bugs about trying to get into windowed mode. Unfortunately, the known hotkey for the game is not working on mac and I get stuck in a black screen.

I saw something about running with a command line but I tried that and it didn't work.
