Hi Paul - and thanks for being a fellow Zeus enthusiast! My favorite legacy game - played years ago - I now have a MacMini and was very excited to learn about Crossover - I'd buy it even if it can just run this one game :).
I am trying Crossover with my ORIGINAL Sierra disk - it seems to have installed but I get a "no disk found" error - which is that Windows XP - even with a full-install - when you ran Zeus, it always did a check on the CD drive to make sure you had a legit copy.... and yes - I bought and own Zues and Posideion from years back - wish that Sierra/Impression games had never folded.... the city builder games out there now are NOT the same quality or challenge. These games were great.
So two questions for you -
Do you know a way around / setting in crossfire to force the game on loading to "look" at the CD drive ?
or
IS the game site "GoG.com"'s version "broke" so it does NOT look for the CD drive. I see the game is only $5 so I would buy it no problem - but I do actually own the game and have the old disks... can you help?
thanks! I wil check back here and hope you see this post!
