Vulkan Crashes & OpenGL not recognized - Yuzu

Hi there! I've been checking on Crossover support for Yuzu for a year or two and was hoping with the release of v21 that support would be better. I'm able to install and open the application but running any type of game is a no-go. I don't know if Crossover supports OpenGL, but Yuzu refuses to recognize it or the "Drivers" don't support it. In Vulkan mode Yuzu attempts to run a game but fails and results in Crossover notifying me that the program crashed due to Vulkan. I've downloaded DirectX for modern games, DXVK, and enabled DXVK backend for D3D11.

My system is the MacBook Pro 15" 2019, Core i9, Radeon Pro 560x, 16gb of ram, and running macOS Monterey

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Hi there,

There's almost certainly very little hope for OpenGL on Mac. It's not that CrossOver doesn't support it; the issue is that Apple has severely limited OpenGL support, which makes it very very difficult for CrossOver to have decent OpenGL support on Mac :/ As for Vulkan, it's possible the situation could improve with CrossOver 22, due out later this year.

Best,
Meredith
