Running 5.6 is actually OK, aside from the tiny fonts. The fonts sent to other people are so small that they cannot read them, and it makes the app unusable for most chat partners.
I suspect that's the one main issue keeping it from being a Medaled application.
FYI: Running Mandrake 9.2 with all latest upgrades, on Radeon 9100. This also occured with previous system from a year ago, running Nvidia GForce card.
