The new version doesn't install on a normal xp bottle under cx9.

Maybe a graphical thing. I tried it with cx9 and it didn't install, but it seems to work fine with cxg 8.14 (both mac). Hmmmm... Curious.
I'd like to use my controller w/ photoshop so we'll see.

Ahh...that doesn't surprise me so much ; CXO-9.0 doesn't include all
the game specific tweaks that codeweavers incorporate into CXG. That
said, CXO-9.0 is based on a much more recent wine core, and so one would
have to be wary of a possible regression....(a situation impossible to
really conclude until CXG-9.0 is released).

Thanks for reporting this though -- I'll make sure I recheck the last
shareware version of Xpadder against CXG-9.0 when it emerges...

ok I figured something. Two things:

1. I had ran it in a win2k bottle originally (oops!)
2. This new version doesn't need to install it's self contained. You can just run it from the exe file. However closing it doesn't make it quit, so when you want to shut it down you need to quit the bottle (could be the mac version not showing the taskbar icon). Using the run command on a new winxp bottle works.
