X4 launching/testing

Whiskey would not work.
I installed the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2 using the installer provided by Crossover as a failed install msg requested .NET.
That installed 'ok-ish" with "proceed at your own risk" errors but it eventually installed correctly displaying appropriate completion messages.
GOG Galaxy installed with the Purple Circle BUT does not 'now" launch.
During the install it messaged it "may" not be working correctly at end and to reinstall if so.
X4: Foundations did NOT install though.
Am Reinstalling X4. The GOG launcher circle icon appears in my Dock so part of the the engine is running and Act Mon says it's working. Not that hopeful but data points. Have posted on Egosoft forums asking if it is technically possible for X4 to run on ARM64 but no reply yet. Best Regards and Best Wishes!

Greetings to those of you testing X4.
Did you try to boot the game using the game .exe vs Game Launcher vs Steam? eg navigating through the directory structure to find the launcher or game .exe? I don't have the game so maybe that is not possible. I DO want to play it but it obviously isn't running ATM. Anyone use the GOG version to test?

Using DXVK and ESYNC, I took the game folder installed into a Parallels VM (where it won't run due to no Vulkan support) and copied it down to the GOG/Games folder. Under DXVK/ESYNC I got this message. Msg from D3DMetal/MSYNC below that.
