[SOLVED] Black screen after initial logo

Just wanted to document this in case other people encounter it:
If you get a black screen after launching the game right when the X3 logo disappears, you're missing asf codecs, causing the game to fail running the intro video.

To remedy this, just install Windows Media Player (or any other ASF codec provider) into that bottle.
