X2: The Threat Forum

X2: The Threat did not display any issues when installed/run via the Steam interface.

Note: I will be well worth your time to read the X2: The Threat manual before playing.

  Initial game load-time is quite long - just wait and it should load fine

The installation procedure I used was this simple ;

1. Purchase the game via Steam using my system's default web-browser (firefox 3.5.x)
2. Install the Steam client via the cxinstallwizard builtin target (if not already installed)
3. Start the Steam client, login and download/install the X2: The Threat software
4. Launch the game

Game immediately recognized/utilized my USB connected Logitech digital gamepad - all
seems to be working as expected.

A silver for now - more gameplay/testing might see it make gold...
