Hi,
So I'm trying Crossover solely for WoW, and so far it's been problematic. It has the same fps as in my previous trials with bare wine (20 max in stormwind bank/AH). It's using legacy DX11. Trying to switch to DX11 crashes the application, and DX12 doesn't show up in settings.
I tried installing the DXVK Vulkan backend for D3D11, but that crashes the application with this message: World of Warcraft was unable to start up 3D acceleration.
Any ideas?
Did you install DXVK following the instructions here (https://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/linux/linuxtutorial/dxvk)?
Also, which graphics card are you using? Which Linux distro are you using?
I'm running Ubuntu 19.04 with a RTX 2080 with an AMD Ryzen 7 2700x and I get about 100+ FPS
Specs of your computer and OS might help us pinpoint something if it's on the hardware side and like Noah said make sure you have your dependency installed plus 32 bit ones
this is for the 32 bit dependency for Ubuntu
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386; sudo apt-get update
Installing Vulkan on Debian based systems (Including Ubuntu)
sudo apt install mesa-vulkan-drivers mesa-vulkan-drivers:i386 libvulkan1 libvulkan1:i386 vulkan-utils
