I have a sound problem, basically it ''clips'' every few seconds and it can get very annoying. I tried to play it while listening to some music but the music was ''clipping'' as well. This problem only occurs when the game is open. I tried reinstalling sound driver but it didn't help. If anyone has an idea on how to fix this, please let me know.

I was able to get the game to run in a vmware machine but I have this problem... did you get it to work with crossover? mine loaded but couldnt proceeedbecause it was windows xp based still... not sure how to run it with crossover but id rather do that than run full windows in a vm....

For mac, I have no idea, dont own one anymore, all linux here now.
On linux, this is an older issue that should be remedies with a newer distro release and the latest version of Crossover (has proper support for PulseAudio).
