"Error: Enable Secondary Logon. Error Code BLZAPPBTS0000K"

RUNNING:

Ubuntu 14.04
Crossover 13.1.3 Trial

I've tried to install WoW from DVD into every bottle option in crossover, everytime meeting failure with, "Error: Enable Secondary Logon. Error Code BLZAPPBTS0000K", right before the installer opens.

please note, my machine ONLY has ubuntu on it. no other OS through which to install from. i've been at this for 14 hours, i've gone through like 9 gallons of mt. dew. please help

Possibility one I can think of: You mounted the Mac side of the DVD and the Windows installer can't find some of its files. Not sure if the WoW DVDs still have two partitions.

Possibility two: WoW DVDs used to have broken file permissions. Only root could read some of the files. See the "how to install from CD" entry in tips & tricks.

Overall I recommend to use the download version of wow. I think nowadays this comes in the form of the Battle.Net desktop application.
