crash after resoltion change

hi

i still can't get wow working. the game starts it changes the screen resolution and crashes. SOMETIMES it works perfect.

this began after installing Command & Conquer 3, this game changed my ulimit and i don't know how and why...
can anybody tell me the default ulimt for Fedora Core 6, maybe it helps?

i use fc6 i686 (non-PAE), ati mobility radeon x1300 (64MB+256MB hypermemory) with the newest drivers in livna-repo.
