World of Tanks Forum

As most of you should know, 32-bit wrappers won't be supported in macos 10.15 Catalina, which is rolling out in about a month. Are you preparing for this or not? Or is there already a 64-bit wrapper made and ready for downloading? I read somewhere that one was made and submitted to WarGaming last year for release (which they still haven't released, by the way). Can we download that wrapper? Either way, we need to solve this problem quickly because the next update comes out in about a month from now.

Clark, I'm not sure I understand your issue / concern entirely; however, I hope I can fill in some of the blanks. First, Catalina is expected in October. CodeWeavers has been working on a 64-bit/32-bit hybrid for over a year. We do not have a solution today, but we hope to have a solution within the next 60 days. That stated, the version of World of Tanks that we are are supporting is a 64-bit Windows application. There is no hybrid as a result. And to that point, we are moving ahead and should have a version of WoT and WoWS available for Catalina. Those versions have to be released by Wargaming. I can't just give that to you. They have to be ready on their end. SO...I have every reason to believe that by the time Catalina is release by Apple that there will be a version of WoT and WoWS that you will be able to play. AND it may be that the 64-bit version comes out sooner. But again, that is a decision that Wargaming makes (not CodeWeavers).

I was not able to find an official Wargaming post, but yesterday an update was pushed to World of Tanks to make it Catalina compatible. If there is an update dialogue when you open WoT, just click yes to update :)

WGC updated for Catalina doesn't launch on Mojave. Is it a bug or a feature?

Definitely not an intentional feature :) We tested on our end and it works here on Mojave. Could you please file a ticket so that we can track the issue? You can use the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page.
