WordPerfect Office X5 Forum

As at October 2010, WordPerfect Office X5 will not install on Crossover.

I have tested, using Crossover 9.1.0-1, on Mepis 8.5 (which is based on Debian Lenny, but with a snapshot of KDE 4.3.4 from Debian Squeeze). My tests used various bottles, and pointed sometimes to the cd and sometimes to the setup.exe. In all cases the attempt to install failed.

At present anyone wishing to install WordPerfect on Crossover might try WordPerfect 12, which will install successfully and run reasonably satisfactorily, so as to merit a silver rating.

i still cannot install WP X5 on crossover 10.0.3 (ubuntu 10.04)
i have installed any dependencies but it crashed when start GUI for installation.

WPX3 installs fine and works OK, have a look in the Compatibility list.
