WordPerfect Office X3 Forum

As with 5.0.x, WordPerfect X3 installs correctly. However, I've found that most of the time when I try to launch WordPerfect it will display the splash screen, but then after the splash screen disappears the main window fails to open. I can see the various Wine backends and WordPerfect are still running in the process list, but there's nothing being shown on the desktop. I've found a strange workaround that seems pretty reliable, if I launch WordPerfect twice, click the icon, wait a few seconds, then click the icon again, it will open WordPerfect in a tiny window, which I can then maximize and use normally.

Once WordPerfect gets running it seems to work as well as before, it's stable and perfectly usable. The Enhanced File Dialog for opening and saving files now somewhat works, but it seems to have issues properly drawing and sizing its windows and elements so I leave it disabled.

you are right, WPX13 does not open straight away and you need to click the application launcher a second time to have the minimized application appearring on screen. Here is the verbose log of cxstart:

I noted that the log files should not be posted entirely or should be trimmed down to reflect only the important portions of them, but I have no idea what part is important and what not. Whom should I send this to?
