The download (demo) version of WordPerfect Office 12 from Corel also installs without problems in Crossover Office, and once installed it suffers the same problems:
-
Keyboard/mouse input is a kind of off/on thing, but it appears to be focus-related, since whenever input freezes, minimizing the window and then restoring it seems to restore input.
-
Save and load don't work.
-
Printing doens't work.
-
Quattro Pro doesn't start; it freezes after drawing application window borders without ever drawing the contents of the application window. WordPerfect and Presentations start fine.
It seems that Crossover is this close (pinches fingers) to supporting WordPerfect Suite 12! Meanwhile, Corel's own WordPerfect Office 2000 for Linux is also this close to being usable. It's so frustrating to apparently be 90% of the way to WordPerfect on Linux and to have that last 10% remain elusive forever...
