Processes???

When starting up WordPerfect, I notice the following PID´s:

3368 ? wineserver
3369 ? wineloader
3359 ? wineloader
3385 ? wineloader
3386 ? wineloader
3387 ? wineloader
3389 ? wineloader
3390 ? wineloader
3391 ? wineloader

I have rebooted my system a few times, hence the low PID´s. Does this give a hint as to why the mouse and keyboard hangs for minutes at a time?
