Huge strides seem to have been made in being able to run WP12 under CX Office 5. However, one problem I haven't been able to resolve is how to run the two service packs, having downloaded them.

So it runs for you then? I got it to install fine, but it wouldn't start.
Yes. WordPerfect runs OK, I can print and save. Similarly QuattroPro. Presentations crashes though. Still not sure about WP's capacity to handle graphics - haven't tried it yet.
Just for the record, I got it working too. It wouldn't work under a 2000 bottle, but works fine under the default Win98. I also had to install all the stuff selected by default when installing IE6, it wouldn't when I just installed the browser.
That's great. Yes I used the Win98 bottle. To recap on what I said earlier, graphics seem absolutely fine. However, I've had less success with QuattroPro which sometimes crashes. WordPerfect itself seems pretty much OK, although Help doesn't work, despite the files being present on the hard drive. Still haven't found any way of installing the two service packs.
I would have thought WordPerfect alone probably now merits at least a bronze rating, but I couldn't say that for the other applications in the package.
Did the included Program Updates utility not work for you? Because it downloaded the updates and installed them fine on my install.
No - I'm not sure that I have this utility; was this on your installation disk?
The Corel Download Manager downloaded the first of the two updates OK, but when I launched it, I got the message "Incorrect command line parameters".
Yeah, it got installed as part of the default install options.
The program itself is located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\ISUSPM.exe on my install.
Thanks. Unfortunately, that file is missing from the directory - hence presumably my problem. I have tried copying it across from a Windows installation, but that does not work. I have tried reinstalling, but still without any luck. Curious and exasperating.
I got also WP 12 working in CX Office. However, macros do not function at all. Has anybody got them functioning? If yes, how?
