After some experimentation, I have found that the file dialog problem can be solved by doing the following manipulation.
You will lose the enhanced file dialog but you can work with files now.
Because the only issue left is the focus problem which is not a critical issue (it is very annoying but you can use the application), the rating is updated to bronze.
I could also fix the file selctio problem in the same way. But what about the macros? In my installation macros do not work at all. Have you or some one been able to get them functioning? I think this is very serious problem because one of the main reasons to use WordPerfect is its macro capability.
