New version of WER/WER-beta

Good evening, all,

tl;dnr: WER stops working entirely on Jan 1, 2017.

Wizards rolled out a new version of Wizards Event Reporter (WER) that required your WER username as opposed to your DCI number to login. As of that time, while WER-under-Crossover would still run, it continued to lose more and more features. At the beginning of 2017, the old DCI-login system will be shutdown, and WER-under-Crossover will cease to function effectively.

I am working with the current Beta of the new WER. It installs and starts under Crossover 16 just fine (it does not install under 15.x). Logins with WER usernames work. However, it is not currently possible to sanction events. I've passed info back to the Wizards beta team, but no guidance as of yet. As of this writing, you should not rely on running WER under Crossover. I'll post an update when this changes.

Thanks,

-G
