Windows Messenger 5.1

Hi all,

a) From what I can gather, Windows Messenger 5.1 -- is the last version that was released for working on "intranet / MS Exchange / SIP" kind of setups.

b) Going forward, the Live Messenger installer is enabled for SIP / LMS kind of setups.

c) Tried installing messenger.msi (for 5.1) and the live messenger.
live messenger trips at the first line - with a "only for XP" kind of message.
messenger.msi - goes forward with the setup but does not give any screen display during install and dies.

I tried installing Windows Messenger with the latest codeweaver (6.2.0) and I was able to get it to install and run. What isn't working is being able to connect to the server.
