media player

i can't get it to load from command line. it doesn't show up in the /cxoffice/bin directory but if i go into the gui of cxoffice it says that it is installed.

Any suggestions? I am using the 30 demo right now and because i want to make sure it will do everything that i need it to do before i buy. So far it is working great.

If its installed correctly, then i think you should go look for it in the "fake_windows" directory. This is the directory that is seen by windows application running on crossover as hard drive(C:\) .

the location of that folder depends on how you installed your crossover ..in my computer, it is found at the following path "/home/myusername/.cxoffice/dotwine/fake_windows/Program Files/Windows Media Player" . The name of the application is mplayer2.exe .

I hope that was helpful

I have tried it but I get this error message:

alex@095-073:~/.cxoffice/dotwine/fake_windows/Program Files/Windows Media Player> ./mplayer2.exe
err:module:import_dll Module (file) msdxm.ocx (which is needed by L"Y:\\.cxoffice\\dotwine\\fake_windows\\Program Files\\Windows Media Player\\mplayer2.ex"...) not found
err:module:import_dll No implementation for msdxm.ocx.RunDllW imported from L"Y:\\.cxoffice\\dotwine\\fake_windows\\Program Files\\Windows Media Player\\mplayer2.ex"..., setting to 0xdeadbeef
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"Y:\\.cxoffice\\dotwine\\fake_windows\\Program Files\\Windows Media Player\\mplayer2.ex"... failed, status c0000135

Does anyone have any idea what this means? I am using COO 4.0.

Looks like the QT hack is messing with WMP 6.4
