So many people (with netflix) would purchase crossover if this worked!!!

I wanted to express a dire need for crossover to play windows media player 11. Currently, all netflix customers who have a macintosh (or linux for that matter) cannot use the on-demand instant view feature that is included with all memberships but available only for windows users who have player 11.

So they have left two whole operating systems out in the cold and lots of angry customers as well.
Obviously I could purchase windows XP or Vista and run it in Bootcamp but this is costly and takes tons of hard drive space. If I could simply get these movies playing through crossover - it would be a huge incentive for me to purchase this program and a big selling point for this program.

Please listen to this request - I think there would be BIG demand for this.

Thanks,

patrick

I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that this is the #1 application that I crave;
I want to watch netflix movies on my mythtv box. The further good news is that we're working
hard on Windows Media Player. The bad news is that WMP is hard, and getting the DRM to work
right is even harder. So while I believe we will take a step towards this in version 7, I fear that
my hopes of Netflix streaming joy are a ways off yet.

Cheers,

Jeremy

There is a big demand for this. I have fried that has a mac and would love to do the instant watch. Instead he just buys episodes from iTunes.
I personally hate having to re-start my computer just so I can use it on my windows partition.
I am a netflix costumer so if there was a petition running around that I could sent to Netflix I'm sure they'd listen if enough of us poked them into it. Maybe codeweavers can start that kind of petition?
