Hello,
Does anyone is having the issue with the option Open In New Window checked ? If it's checked, the "new window" doesn't open.
If not, it works fine.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have the same issue since upgraded to CrossOver 22
Hello,
I have the same problem.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Thank you,
Guys, it has to do with wine 7. If you manage to downgrade to wine 6 it will work again.
fix it ?
Testing in 22.1.1 I am still seeing this issue. If "open in new window" is unchecked Winbox works correctly (opening new session in current window).
Using version 21.2 (21.2.0.33926) "new window" behavior works correctly for me on Intel and M (Arm) Macs.
Just tested in beta 23.0.2.
Open in New Window doesn't display a new window. However, you eventually get a background response to a disconnected session that will reconnect and work as a separate window... this can take up to 30 seconds.
+1
Hoping for a solution.
Hi folks,
Has anyone opened a support ticket for this issue? Since we don't have the required hardware, we can't test this internally, so we would need to rely on logs from one of you :)
Best,
Meredith
Hi Meredith,
Thank you very much for replying!
I can open up a support ticket for this (thank you for suggesting).
I don't think that Mikrotik hardware is required to test Crossover with Winbox- Mikrotik offers a virtual router (the CHR) that's free to download/install/use for testing, and functions the same as their physical hardware.
I will update my post here once I've opened a ticket.
Edit: opened a ticket!
Hi,
Is there any update on this? Is really useful being able to open in new window and not needing to keep reopening winbox?
Thanks
Jono
