How I use it

The FLAC input plugin seems to work well. Sometimes it gives me an error saying that it "Couldn't stop playback thread". All I have to do is hit OK and everything continues to work like normal

I haven't had any trouble with the Monkey's Audio (APE) input plugin. Seems to work fine.

Media library doesn't work for me. Nothing happens when I click on something that would normally start it.

Can't play any videos. Video window appears, but doesn't show any picture.

DirectSound output plugin doesn't work for me. waveOut output plugin seems to work fine.

Main window is missing a few pixels around its border.. it's weird; you'd have to see it. Turn on EasyMove (Ctrl+E) to move the main window around.

Stop/Play buttons seem to lag for a couple seconds. Takes a long time (~5 sec) to change tracks. I avoid some of the long gap by doing this:

Go to Preferences window (Ctrl+P)
Under Plugins, select Output.
Highlight waveOut output. (DirectSound output doesn't work for me)
Click Configure
Make Buffer length: 12,000ms (12 sec)
Make Buffer-ahead on track change: 10,000 (10 sec)
Click OK
Click Close

Also the application stays on top of everything, including daughter windows.
I get skipping early in every MP3 if started by it's self but seems to stop ~5 seconds in, changing the prefrences above did not help, and does not happen when playing several or using the loop feature.
Responsiveness at times is very poor, it has little micro-freezes, then does what you ask. (ex, play mp3, wait 20 secs, press stop, press "File" = micro-freeze)

All together I'd say this gets an "Honorable Mention"

Using the CVS from winehq I get output from the DirectSound plugin, but it is distorted (slow), but you can make out the song.
