Amazing! Watchtower Library '07 now runs clean, straight out of the box so to speak. COMCTL32 trick no longer needed!
Early days but many of the niggles have disappeared: icons have white backgrounds; tool tips work without any files copied from Windows; footnote and marginal reference font uses * and M! Only thing that seems not to work: column sorting in the search panel.

Hi David,
Pro version 7 uses Wine 0.9.60, so not quite at version 1.0 yet but very close. Certainly a big improvement. Although maps still don't show!

That's weird. Wine displays maps well for quite a long time. I remember using it a year ago, and it worked well even then (but on Linux, not Mac). Maybe you should report this regression to codeweavers?
