Hello,
I try the trial version of CrossOver Games (default configuration) with OSX 10.5.2.
I can install the game (also with default configuration) and graphic preferences works too, but
when I want to start the game the DVD can't be found.
The message comes from the game not from the OS (copy protection I assume).
I'm using the original version (non pirate copy)!
Systeminfo: iMac C2D 2,16 ghz, 2GB RAM, ATI X1600 128MB

Only the Steam version is supported right now because it does not require the CD-ROM.
I noticed that Soulstorm use SecuROM 7 as copy protection. This protection affected many games.
Does Codeweavers actively working on that issue? I don't think so, when I read

The games works with nocd patch but this is not the elegant way.

Not elegant at all, but in order to get a lot of these copy protection systems working Crossover/Wine would need to emulate really low-level stuff to appease the copy protection app. The Mac OS won't even allow programs to access the lowest levels of the CD/DVD-ROM drive that many of these copy protection apps use in Windows.
The idea of having a Windows copy protection program need to rootkit my Mac so I can play a game is a bit unsettling to me.
