crossover DirectX folder, no files

I was trying to play Warframe but it didn't work so i decided to check in DXerror.log
this is what i found C:\windows\system32\DirectX\DX8372.tmp\xinput1_3.dll ExecuteInf failed
i decide d to check that folder
and i found out that DirectX folder is completely empty!
i am not sure is it suppose to be empty but this certainly makes lots of games unplayable.
please help me solve this problem if it is possible.
