I downloaded and installed warframe from steam and Crossover then when ever i click on the "play" button in steam the launcher works fine but it says "Could not update file: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\Warframe\Tool\Launcher.exe

File not found. [0x00000002]"
i don't know what to do.

Its a problem that happens any time the launcher is updated, not at my pc atm so I may get the path wrong, but from your home directory go to. . cxoffice/warframe /drive_c/users/crossover/local settings /application data/warframe /downloaded /public/tools

There should be a launcher.exe and launcher.exe.tmp, delete the
Exe and rename the tmp to replace it.

Now it just tells me that the update for diectx failed. I guess i will just have to install bootcamp

I have the same problem, the fix in these thread works but launcher gets stuck at update for directX failed
One person suggested to write these in note pad.

I have these problem: what changes do I do to this so it works in crossover,
Where do I save it if I write in notepad or do I add this to system.req or user.req
I use Mac.
EDIT: I accidentaly found warframe info in user.reg and I changed the information to the one above,
Maybe I did something wrong but I still get the "update for directX failed". Going to search a bit more information in user.reg
EDIT: it doesn't work but i am completely sure that there is a problem with DirectX folder...
