i downloaded war thunder without the knottie and it worked perfectly. unfortunately tank battles started crashing last week every time i drove a few seconds.
i installed directX runtime, microsoft visual C++ (2010) and the xml parser.

Yeah I've been getting crashes in Tank battles as well. There is native Linux/Mac versions now, Have you tried using them?
