War Thunder Forum

I installed in CrossOver, and then downloaded, War Thunder (which took several tries because of stalling). After it finally downloaded, every time I press the play button it quits and the window disappears. Relaunching War Thunder.app opens the window, but pressing Play again has no effect, other than making the window disappear.

I have an iMac running OS X 10.8.4 with a 2.5 GHz core i5 and 8 GB ram and crossover version 12.2.1 (12.2.1.26977). I CAN successfully run World of Tanks.

Any thoughts on how to make War Thunder run? Thanks in advance.

You need to set Graphics to "min", it enables "Old videocards support" and textures won't be broken.

Do you have Mac Book pro with Nvidia card ? War Thunder wasn't tested on Intel cards.

Really last version of War Thunder doesn't work as you described.

btw World of Tanks is officially supported app, and War Thunder isn't.

Yes, it is set on MIN graphics.
I'm running it on an iMac with an AMD Radeon HD 6750M.

Hi!

I've just tested on my Mac Retina with Nvidia Geforce 650M and latest Crossover 12.5.
It works perfectly on low quality graphic settings. I haven't seen any issue even with control.
