Now working good in COG-8.1.3 | 8.1.4/linux - TellTale Games standalone episode

The Wallace&Gromit episodes are available as standalone game titles from various distributors.

The TellTale Games version is a 476mb downloadable installer exe, which installs correctly
into a new bottle using the winxp bottle profile. This title requires a native d3d9_41.dll
to be present inside the bottle environment to run. The online registration process does not
quite work "as expected", however it does now work. Exiting the game is also a little cumbersome
but this is only a small glitche considering everything else works well. See the tips&tricks
section for more info on installing/running this title.

Thanks to Steve Lefebvre for his recent posting on this title, which had me recheck this situation
(wrt linux) a lot earlier than I otherwise would have -- it would seem 'something has changed' since
COG-8.0 was released, but I'm not sure what (still looking into this). In any event, make sure you
are using COG-8.1.3/4 for linux, as previous releases have not been checked/are known not to work.

Cheers!

Well it works windowed mode. It crashes when you run it full screen. So thats why i rated this silver.

Hi,

I wonder if HKCU\Software\Wine\DllOverrides\shdocvw should be part of the c4p, since that same key, with the same value, is already in MSHTML6.

I don't actually have this game to test a modified c4p on, but I was just digging through it for research.

Hi,

True enough...I can't recall now whether that key was always in
7853.c4p from the beginning or not, or whether I just stuffed-up =)
If there was a reason for it being there, that's no longer the case
now and it looks redundant...it shouldn't actually break anything tho'
but I'll remove it later (during next beta testing)....

Cheers!
