VC++ Standard/Professional - Xover6 Beta2 - Ubuntu 6.0.6

Installs fine under a Win98 bottle

Everything runs fine and as expected (from the little testing I've done)

BUT, I can't get the debugger to work

  • i.e. setting breakpoints has no effect, it just keeps on running

Have upgrade to Service Pack 5, but no difference.

Is this a Beta2 regression - because noone else seems to have a problem with this

  • I checked on the Wine site too - where they report it's ok

Any ideas?

Cheers!

I can't get the debugger to work either. The active configuration is "Debug", but the messages in the bottom pane say:

Loaded 'C:\MyProjects\HelloWorld\Debug\HelloWorld.exe', no matching symbolic information found.
Loaded 'APP01.EXE', no matching symbolic information found.
Loaded 'APP02.EXE', no matching symbolic information found.
Loaded 'C:\MyProjects\HelloWorld\Debug\HelloWorld.exe', no matching symbolic information found.
The thread 0x27 has exited with code 0 (0x0).
The program 'C:\MyProjects\HelloWorld\Debug\HelloWorld.exe' has exited with code 0 (0x0).
