Did anyone test it really?

Did anyone test it really.
Can it handle low latency audio with for instance a hercules universal dj?
Is it really worth the $299?
I ask because I had my hands on windows for a week (gpd WIN2), and I installed djuced and drivers (to upgrade the firmware of the controller).
I was so severely disappointed with the lack of functionality and the bugs in djuced that installing mixxx on ubuntu on that gpd win2 (wiping windows) felt like a relieve...
Alas I didn't know about virtual dj before purging my windows, else I would have tried it, could have compared it.
Still just to try is $99, which is not that far from $299. If I knew it was working great and the media service also works great, I wouldn't think long to shell out the $299.
But I fear this is more like: the screen output works, and the audio is routed through pulseaudio instead of very low latency ASIO->ALSA or ASIO->jackd.
