I recently upgraded to karmic and am now experiencing a very weird problem. It doesn't seem to capture my (hotkey mouse). Further investigation shows that the "codec's" processing, if you will, stops after about 2 seconds, rendering it useless. I hope someone sees this and knows how to fix it.
I am using ALSA, pulseaudio is just horrible in karmic, and I'm wondering if that's the problem instead. Please help!
I'm also having this problem; however, my issue started with the update for CXgames that patched the WoW directory permissions problem.
One thing I did that helped on an earlier version of CXgames was to totally remove and purge all aspects of pulse audio.
