Vensim PLE Forum

Vensim (either PLE or DSS versions) is not automatically added to CrossOver's Programs Menu when installed. You can add it yourself manually as follows:

1. Select the menu option Programs > Run Command...
2. Select the bottle in which Vensim is installed (if you have more than one bottle)
3. Click the Browse button
4. Navigate to Vensim's executable file; it should be in Program Files > Vensim
5. Select the executable file (venple.exe for PLE or vensim.exe for DSS) and click the Open button
6. Click the Save Command to Programs Menu button

Note: This post was based on the following configuration: Vensim 5.8b, CrossOver 7.1.0, and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
