Has anyone had any luck getting UltraEdit v10.x installed (w/o resorting to copying over an install from a Windows box)?

Crossover v3 is still having issues with the installer that UltraEdit uses (which is not Installshield, or any other install I've seen or heard of).

Previous post mentions copying over some registry entries from a WIndows box, anyone had any luck with that?

I tried to simply copy over a v10.20 over a v10.x, but UltraEdit wouldn't even launch.

I'm going to (nicely) ask the author to consider using amore standard, better support installer, I hope that they are receptive to this, since there is some chatter on the UltraEdit forums about wanting/needing a Linux version.

I was not able to get 10.x installed but I use an older version 8.0 and it installed just fine. I think the installer might have something to do with it. I will play with 10 more and see if I can get it to work.
