Just wondering how to get this to work

So, browsing others comments it looks like people are able to get UE working under Crossover/WINE. As you see in my recent post (below) I am unable to achieve full functionality.

I'm wondering if anyone who claims to have it workign could run this test:

Create/load a file.
Select several lines of text (Shift up/down arrow)
Hit tab to indent the entire block.

This fails for me. After several attempts, the editor finally crashes.

I'd be interested in hearing if this works for others... I'm running on an updated FC4 laptop.

thanks,
tod

Fails for me as well! UltraEdit shuts down completely when I hit the tab key.
UltraEdit32 version is 10.10c

I am going to try JEdit on Linux instead of a CX/UltraEdit solution for now!

Yah, I'm using JEdit now too.
Found a good page:
http://community.jedit.org/cgi-bin/TWiki/view/Main/SwitchingFromUltraEdit?skin=print
a list of stuff on users switching form UE to JEdit.... So far so good, but the default color scheme for jedit is kinda' harsh -- search for "jedit color scheme" they're plug-inable
