I gave silver rating for this application but current version 10 is barely a bronze. Older versions of UltraEdit install and run just fine, but UltraEdit 10 installer does not work. UltraEdit 9 does not seem to be available anymore on the manufacturers site. sigh.
It is possible to get UltraEdit 10 up and running with Crossover, check Tips&Tricks.
Hrm - what distrib/version of Linux are you running, OOC? I managed to install and run UE 10.10a on RH9 (w/Ximian). It's not pretty, and it has some bugs in how it works - but the main functions and the editing work okay...
I'd give it a silver medal rating currently, I think - although I haven't had a chance to grab the 10.10c update and try that (I doubt it will change much tho).
I'm using Fedora Core 1 with Gnome.
The installer is totally messed up, but I managed to start the install by pressing the (invisible) next-buttons with tab and enter. But still, the installer stops responding while installing..
Maybe I should try it again..
