1/ Load Manage bottles
1/ Create XP Bottle
2/ Install DirectX 9, Flash 10, Corefonts, Fontfix
3/ Run patcher (Classic Client)
4/ Let it finish patching then log in.
5/ Works fine. I have been using it for just under a week averaging at least 5 hours a day. I have not had a single crash.
(I created a shortcut to client.exe and renamed it 2d classic client and put on my desktop for times when I don't want to load the patcher, you don't need to do this it's just I like having the option of loading the patcher or not loading it).
I have had no crashes whatsoever as yet and everything works. I have a Stygian Abyss account at the moment. At the time of writing I was coming from playing on Free Shards using Winblows.
