This isn't a comprehensive post, but one to convey my general impressions. Under CrossOver for Mac 11.0.3.26035, manual installation (ie, without a CrossTie) of UFile 2011 proceeded normally, except that an update was downloaded but not successfully installed - a disturbing pattern I'd often seen while running UFile 2010 and earlier CrossOver versions.
A subsequent attempt to update UFile 2011 was successful, and when I use UFile's Help | About UFile... command, I now see Version 2011.1520. The initial version installed from the CD was, I believe, Version 2011.1501. IF you see Version 2011.1501, THEN try, try, try again to update the software.
An encouraging development - likely due to the fact that the software could be updated - is that this year's combination of CrossOver and UFile seems ready to Netfile. (Last year, I used a Windows computer to do that.)
Compared to my experience last year, these are significant improvements; therefore, my initial ranking for UFile 2011 is Silver. Since CrossOver can display Windows applications' help index, but not the content of the help topics. the user experience cannot be ranked Gold. In UFile 2011 running under CrossOver for Mac, some content isn't displayed on screens that would appear under Windows; however, all of the functionality seems to be here.
Likely many Tips & Tricks and Forum posts at UFile 2010 will apply equally to UFile 2011.
