Ok now I can get it to run after having upgraded my gma950 macbook to leopard.
But I have a couple of issues:

1. The game cannot really go into fullscreen mode, because there is always a bar in the top.
2. I cant make a profile because it says 'cant connect to the internet' or something like that.
   Other than that the game runs well.

1. I have the same issue. I use windowed mode instead which is good enough. The fullscreen mode is further broken in that the mouse cursor's position doesn't take the title bar's height into account and offsets the cursor down.
2. I didn't try creating an account, but I could login to my existing account fine. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking it.

Two other issues I've noticed are:

• Flashing light 'halos' - sometimes the halos around distant light sources flash a bit.
• Graphics quality is lower than when running under windows, despite having the same settings. Perhaps running under DX8 rather than DX9...
