Mac Book Pro Core i7:

Enable the experimental mac driver and the game will run.

Could you describe what else you did to run it? Prerequisites and installations of sytem specific runtimes, like DirectX or Visual C+ etc. Because it is like you write: It starts and runs, but on my machine only with a full black screen. I hear the Intros and the Menu, I can even click on things and eventually start a game when I'm lucky. But it doesn't show at all. Maybe someone else can try it and record their experience. I would be grateful for any help nonetheless.

I'm trying this on a late 2011 Macbook Pro i3 and OSX 10.7.4

Edit: I can see the animated Cursor of the game though, forgot to mention that.

Edit:2 Tested it further. It seems, that it isn't the Mac Driver causing this, more likely my System and Specifications. You probably are using a dedicated Nvidia Card as it seems, that could make the difference of course.

OS X 10.8.2latest x nvidia higher res, no joy on battles.
Anyone got this working, crossover office used to be the dogs bits now its just as unreliable as windows -
words cannot express my disdain for steam however who made me rebuy shogun this sucks after over a year of trying on linux.
Never again, shame that steam doesn't work, alas no sale after trial code weavers unless you make this work.
Battles play after about 30 mins and crash after I win.
Game consistently detects tampering, steam I hate this allegation it is libel

Well Tried 12.10 and surprise surprise it broke again after combat, and in addition crashes more often, I still lose steam menus. If this can be made to work I will use it and pay my upgrade fee....come on guys it takes 20 minutes to load each time it crashes.
This means after a couple goes it pays for itself!

Im having the same problem as Zephon. If I use the experimental mac driver, will it fix this? and how do I use the experimental mac driver.

Well, after several tries after my initial success, the game really doesn't run well. Battles take forever to load and if it does, you will see "this game may be pirated" popup. Not worth waiting 5 minutes for the game to load if you have to auto resolve every battle.
