Same Problem

I had the same problem with the arrow keys, same Linux Distribution.
I wanted to check it with Debian Woody 3.0r3 but my installation crashed, so I will have to wait until a friend gives me a copy of the New SUSE, so I am waiting.
Maybe the Keyboard port is the problem, my KB is PS/2, What is yours?
