Keen to pay!
Need some instructions how to install... :)
Looks to me that for some reason the installer was not downloaded correctly. No problem. Just download the .exe file from: http://www.ghisler.com/download.htm. Use the "install windows software" as you did before and select the "total commander 8" enty. Select the .exe file you just downloaded instead of the one suggested and you should be all set.
The best way to get support is by submitting a ticket. Please take a look at the support section. Posting on the forums may or may not produce results. It depends on the application. Games like "World of Warcraft" might get more eyes than "Total Commander".
Good luck,
Silviu
Cannot try it, trial version has expired.
You reckon it should be good?
(I'll take my chances, cannot work without TC)
I think it should work. Runs fine on my Ubuntu 12.04 install. Like I said, I believe that for some reason the install process failed to retrieve the correct file and that is why it went wrong.
Sort of works...
(using 32-bit .exe from Total Commander site)
How about changing default F4 editor?
Hello,
You did not say if you managed to make it work or not but I managed to do it and here's how:
1) install sublime text 2 into the same bottle where Total Commander is
2) in that same bottle install the Visual C++ 2008 runtime (sublime needs it)
Locate the Sublime 2 executable on the C: drive of the bottle and you should be golden.
Proof it works, on Ubuntu at least:
