Torchlight II Forum

Hello,

Since the latest great update of crossover i'm unable to run Torchlight II.
Even after the patch fix the game crashes after a few seconds.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Which platform are you using CrossOver on? Linux (which distro) or Mac OS X (which version)?

More details about your hardware are also welcome.

I can confirm this. Game worked fine on Crossover 13. With version 14 launcher starts, you run game and it just crashes.

I run crossover on Debian Wheezy x64

running in:

OS X Yosemite 10.10
Macbook Pro 2,5 GHz Intel Core i5
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

What happens if you disable the sync to Steam cloud? Does it still crash?

Yes unfortunately. Even tried Torchlight in offline modus.
I get to the main menu, then the crash happens.

I can confirm the crash as well. I don't even get the menu.

Mavericks. w/ CX 14.03

14.1 fixed it for me the game now plays.

There is now a native version of Torchlight II for Mac and Linux. I suggest you use that one :) Only took something like 3 years to make but now, it is here....and it works (well, the Mac version does; can't comment on the Linux one) :)

The Linux version works fine too.
