I just downloaded the trial of crossover and installed steam in order to play torchlight 2, and it just crashes from time to time what do i do.

I would check the other forum topics to see if there are any solution to your problem with there. I suspect it may have something to do with Steam's cloud syncing.

I get crashes in The Frosted Hills and I can't work out what's causing it. I just save my game from time to time, especially if I've just got some nice loot from a big fight. I don't seem to get crashes on earlier maps or dungeons (so far).
Command-Option-R will restore the screen after a crash BTW.

I'm my case, I managed to turn on some CrossOver debugging (Torchlight II) didn't make that simple and I can see that the program is running out of memory every time it crashes for me. I'm about to file a bug report because this doesn't happen on Windows and the lack of memory does seem to be a bug.
