SCCT VERSUS on steam

Steam runs splinter cell campaign fine on v9.2

when i try to launch the versus mode, i get an error message telling me to refer to this site?? 😭

i tried changing the launch from crossover to crossover games. i also tried to run the .exe without opening the main game.
nothing seems to work.

any help?
