Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 Forum

I installed this with Crossover games.I could not run the normal exe only the one with the patches . i pushed quit on the patches so it dint patch but then the rainbow screen comes and i get this error ..unfortunately.

any help ;D?

Errmm...okay...the short and quick of it, is this title is subject to
a wine bug. It looks like some people have got it running wine-1.1.33/34
and then utilizing winedbg (which is a separate standalone executable
in mainstream wine), but by the looks of it, this is probably still
considered a wine bug, and is 'likely to have problems' using the current
Crossover-Games, which is based on wine-1.1.25 ; this sort of makes this
title look like one of those that will have better luck running, in a
-future- Crossover-Games release....

...that all said, it has got a silver medal here in C4, and that's not
usually a mistake - someone must've got it running...have you applied
the extra steps described in the tips&tricks section of this title?..see;

Also, which version of crossover(games) are you using? What OS/platform/videocard
are you using? It helps if you tell us such things :)
